Pietarin Musta Koira is portait of the artist-genius Juri Shevtsuk who is the leading figure of the rock band DDT. Shevtsuk is today's Vysotski. As is often the case with a suffering artist, also Shevtsuk gets in trouble with society, i.e. the Soviet system, and also faces difficulties in his personal life. The form of this film is fascinating and as such it is an excellent proof of its creators' talents.
