INNI is an intimate concert film about four Icelandic dreamers called Sigur Rós. The person in charge of the hypnotically spare execution is Vincent Morrisset who has also directed Heima, the documentary on Sigur Rós. INNI, before anything, is an experience. In Morrisset’s direction Sigur Rós’ music penetrates the skin and the intensive playing is echoed in the simplistic imagery. Inni was made to be experienced on the big screen. The only thing closer to a live performance is a live performance.

INNI premiered at the 2011 Venice Film Festival, from where it was right away selected for a surprise screening at the 2011 Helsinki International Film Festival. In November, you have the chance to experience INNI at Rokumentti. Don't miss it!
